I gotta say that the Thunder played about as well as they could against the Suns. It was good learning curve for J-Dub to be guarding KD. The Sun's are going to be a very good team in the playoffs.
It's not a loss I'm that worried about. Phoenix present a hell of a match-up headache and stopping Booker/KD is very difficult. Running the Suns as close as the Thunder did is a positive to me
Agreed. KD said himself he likes what the thunder are building, next season when the Thunder add Chet and another first rounder, I believe Thunder will be a formidable force themselves.
I change my mind alot but I think the Thunder should not worry about the draft and try and go as far as they can go within the confines of development first and foremost. If Presti wants a player in the draft the Thunder have enough assets to get the player they want apart from Wemby and Scoot.
Off Topic...I know why Lavar Ball was in New Zealand and Australia. His son Liangelo could be playing in the Australian League next season. I wouldn't mind having Gelo on the NZ Breakers, because of his offense.
Is Gelo any good? From what I remember at the time, he was seen to be the worst of the Ball brothers partly because he lacked elite burst and was a bit undersized to play the 4 full time
I don't know if Gelo is any good. The Breakers made it to the NBL finals so Gelo will need to perform in order to play but this could be a good opportunity for both Gelo and the Breakers franchise in terms of exposure.
